I have an Acer Aspire 5742G with Intel Core i3-380M (WiFi) Laptop. The O.S. being Windows 7 Home Premium. I have included in the package Windows Fax scanner, but am unsure how to make the correct connection. My Instruction Manual states the following " Your computer has a built-in V. 92 56 Kbps fax/data modem (only for certain models). How can I ascertain if this is fitted into my laptop? I have the Ethernet connection but when I wish to connect the Fax Scanner to the modem it tells me no modem is installed. What I have read on the forum is inconclusisive and my operating system is in Italian making it extremely difficult for me to comprehend the basics. How can I establish a connection? Thank you LizzieLizzie
