How do I load photos from my phone to my laptop. I've watched some videos but nothing helps. It was very easy with Windows 8.1, the computer did all the work. Now I can not find the import for the photos. Frustrating!!! I have a Samsung smartphone I just was the easiest way as I am not tech savvy. Help.

As S.Sengupta suggested, we need some additional software from the phone manufacturer to acompulish this task.

In addition, if the phone and the PC are both available on Bluetooth, we may also transfer photos through the Bluetooth.

If we would like to take use of the WIFI, what we need to do is to find a common app that would support transfer photos between different devices;

Or we may consider to upload the photos to some online storages like OneDrive, and then download it on the PC side.

Either way is OK.
