How do I filter values in lookup column - No server access
Description - Document Library (created from OOB Document Library template) & Project List (created by importing the spreadsheet used by team to track projects) Users upload or save PDFs, Word, Excel, Pictures and Videos to the Document Library. Each item in the Document Library can be (not required) associated with a Project in the Project List. Document Library has lookup column to Project List. The values in the lookup column are from the Project List Title column I would like to control the values that are available in the Project Lookup column in the Document Library based on the value of the Status column in the Project List. In other words, the Project Lookup column in the Document Library should only show Active Projects. I am a Site Collection Administrator, but I cannot load anything onto the server. Tools available - SharePoint 2007 Enterprise, SharePoint 2007 Designer and InfoPath 2007 Any suggestions, other then a third party tool, would be much appreciated. -Thanks Tamara Bredemus SharePoint Minion...working up to Maven

Hi Tamara, Yeah, but go ahead and give the client the wsp with a solution installer like http://sharepointinstaller.codeplex.com/ by Lars Fastrup http://www.fastrup.net/, this way all your solutions are packaged to be easily deployed with pretty lights that let you know if you have net the prerequisites.. All ya have to fill in is the following <add key="SolutionId" value="8cc0b9fb-f05d-4d51-990d-a01dd4aaa510"/> <add key="SolutionFile" value="Resources\YourSolutions.wsp"/> <add key="SolutionTitle" value=" YourSolutionTitle"/> <add key="SolutionVersion" value="1.0.0.0"/> <add key="UpgradeDescription" value="Upgrades {SolutionTitle} on all frontend web servers in the SharePoint farm."/> The SharePoint Solution Installer is a Windows application for an eased and more user friendly installation and deployment of SharePoint 2007 solution files to a SharePoint server farm. Distribute your SharePoint solution files with this installation program instead of a raw script using STSADM.EXE to install and deploy the solution. This still requires something to be downloaded to the server. IT has the server locked down. No matter how pretty the install package is, it's still not getting on the server. Thanks so much for trying, but my question remains una answered given the confines of the environment. Tamara Bredemus SharePoint Minion...working up to Maven
