I have installed SQLServer 1200 express and and Visual Studio 1200 express (web version).  Unfortunately , my database cannot be seen in the Visaul Studio IDE.  I will be grateful if somebody can help to point me in the right direction to make my database visible in the Visual Studio.  Thanks i

There's no such a version 1200 for SQL Server or Visual Studio, anyway if the question is how to connection SQL Server in Visual Studio, you can refer to this tutorial video.

Please make sure the SQL Server configuration such as firewall, listening port, TCP/IP protocol etc has been set before connecting from Visual Studio residing on a remote server. If you have any trouble, please see How to Troubleshoot Connecting to the SQL Server Database Engine.
