How can site owner see incomplete survey responses?
I am the collection administrator. I have a survey I am creating/testing. In the Overview view of the survey responses, I can see that there are 11 surveys, but when I look at the All Responses view, I only see the completed ones. How do I access the incomplete surveys? I have the advanced settings as read "All responses", and the edit access as "Only their own", and search results "no'> There are no mistakes; every result tells you something of value about what you're are trying to accomplish. Moderator Note: You have been here long enough to know that asop; urgent; crucial and (here) important to me are not phrases to be used in posts or Titles. Do not do it.

Hi, I hope you have used the branching logic & hence there is a possiblity of responses saved before the user actually finishes the survey. But as for as viewing the uncompleted responses, only the user who created the item can view and edit it. Even admin cannot view those responses. A weird way of working compared to custom lists!!! Thanks, Chanakya

I ended up taking all branching out of the survey and re-wording the formally branched-to questions. I felt that the "Next" "Save" "Cancel" buttons where just inviting a user to click Save then Next. But of course, hitting save would end the session and the user would have no idea of how to get back and finish it. I envisioned far too many calls to our help desk with complaints that they weren't able to finish their survey. All in all, not a tool for any survey of consequense. There are no mistakes; every result tells you something of value about what you're are trying to accomplish. Moderator Note: Ask your "one more question in a new thread. One Thread; one question. One more question before this thread gets the lock, so I'm done testing my survey and want to launch it, but the Overview "number of responses" is at 11 and I want it to show zero. I can't delete them because thery were incomplete. Short of deleting and rewriting my survey, is there anything I can do?There are no mistakes; every result tells you something of value about what you're are trying to accomplish.

Hi, Me too is facing the same issue. However, to the last post by run4it, for my case user who has partially responded to the survey (due to close of window / save button / cancel buttin) can actually finish the survey using All Responses > Editing his own response. Once the user finishes his surver, Admin / Owner can view his response in 'AllItems" mode. Thanks
