I have 2 questions on creating datasets in Report Builder 3.0 specifically related to using a report model (SMDL) as the data source. First off, my underlying data source view is based on views (not tables) in my source database. 1) When I drag and drop fields from my entity/attribute list into the dataset Query Designer, it always creates some type of unique ID-looking field, with the same field name as the entity name. What is that there for, and why? 2) How can I sort, or affect the sorting of the rows returned in my dataset? It seems to always want to sort by the column order in the source table underlying the views that are in my data source view. Thanks!
