How can I send a page to a Records Center in Sharepoint 2007?
I have created a records center. I want to use it as a news-archive if it is possible. When users create new pages (web part pages, basic page- whatever) i want to have the ability to right click and choose "send to" records center like you can on documents. Is it even possible? And how do i achieve this? It works fine sending docs to the records center. But i do not get the option when i right click on pages (.aspx files)

Hi cathrind, If I understand correctly, what you want to do is to send the whole page to the Records Center after a user create a page, right? I’m afraid you can’t do this. The Records Center is a Web Service which enables Office SharePoint Server 2007 to send documents and their associated metadata to a record repository, be that repository a SharePoint site or a third-party document storage application. It is working in documents and their associated metadata. If you really need to do this, I think you can try to design a workflow. But this would be troublesome to implement.
