Hello, I already have a Reporting Services instance but I would like to create another. How can I do it ? I ran the SQl Server 2008 setup program, add features to an instance, but i can't choose anything, the checkboxes are disabled. Can someone help me ? Thank you.

Hi djraphi23, If you go to add remove programs and repair the installation it will give you option to add another instance of reporting services on that computer. You can add it with a different instance name and it will create seperate directory structure for you. Regards, Vikram Kansal

they are just bound together, once you get to the screen to chose components, make sure you only tick the SSRS then. for cmd line, Installing Reporting Services from the Command Prompt http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms144272%28v=sql.90%29.aspx make sure change INSTANCENAME=MSSQLSERVER default instance name is MSSQLSERVER so make sure you change it If you think my suggestion is useful, please rate it as helpful.
