How can I define my work week in 30 minutes steps?

Based on the underlying structure, it appears that the internal definition relies on the "hour" number for a start and end, http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.sharepoint.spregionalsettings.workdaystarthour.aspx.

That being said, you might be able to change it to a "30" minute start hour, (e.g. 510 for 8:30am). However, I'm not sure if this will work or is supported. If it does work, you might experience unintended behaviors in other areas that use the calendar.

Hi developers,

I have the following problem: A customer wants to define his work week with e. g. start time: 8:30am and can only chose between full hours. Is it possible to define lower iterations (e. g. 30 minutes steps)?

We defined it in /_layouts/regionalsetng.aspx.

Can anybody help me?

Best regards,

Bjrn

Hi Dimitri,

I tried the code example of MSDN with two examples

  • 8am = 8 x 60 = 480 --> works
  • 8:30am = 8,5 x 60 = 510 --> does not work

it only accepts hour values. :-(

Any other ideas?

Best regards,

Bjrn
