How can I advertise a deployment task sequence to a specific machine using boot media
I need to advertise my test task sequences to specific lab machines using boot media. I do not want to advertise these task sequences to all unknown computers. I want to be able to reimage these computers often and always have these TS available. Whether
or not the machine is known or unknown.
I have tried using a MAC address query in the collection. But the machine still only see the TS assigned to the unknown computers collection.
Is this possible? Can I target specific unknown computers to always receive a TS using MAC address??

No. Unknown means unknown. If you define/specify the system in ConfigMgr, then it's no longer unknown by definition of unknown.
You should import the system into ConfigMgr (by Mac address), put it in a collection with the deployment advertised to it, and then don't delete that resource. If you delete it, it'll become unknown -- once again, by definition of unknown.Jason | http://blog.configmgrftw.com
