How can I administrate other OS, like Linux with SCCM????
Hi guys, Can SCCM administrate other OS or servers like Linux?? Exists SCCM Client Agent version for those OS?? If exists, how can I with SCCM help, administrate other OS?? Thanks for your help!! RaA

No, not natively. Quest does have software that will allow you to use SCCM to do much of the same (but not all) functions to Mac, linux. It is a tool add-on. http://www.quest.com/quest-management-xtensions-configuration-manager/

As Matthew sais, it does require an add-on, but back in the old days, and I am not sure whether this is still the case. I believe this add-on was directly supported by Microsoft Css. Kim Oppalfens

Hi Does anybody know what the ball park figure is for quest management extensions.. Per seat that is.. I'm in a buying decision right now and SCCM is on the list, however we have linux and mac machines we would need to inventory as well.
