How To Implement parallel processing in SSIS?
Hi All, How to implement ssis parallel processing. For suppose in my package I have one sqltask and 2 data flow task. In sql task I need to truncate the tables. In data flow task I am loading the data from source to destination. I want execute 2 dataflow tasks at same .Which properties I need to change for this scenario Thanks CMK...

Hi CMK, Do the truncation and then use multiple paths to execute the DFTs (bear in mind MaxConcurrentExecutables and EngineThreads values need to be set to support that). Follow the link to get an idea on these two values. Arthur My Blog

put two data flow tasks in a sequence container. and connect green arrow ( call this precedence constraint ) from execute sql task to the sequence container task. don't connect two data flow tasks with precedence constraint. Note that when you do data flow tasks parallel, you should mention about priority of them if destination of one data flow used on second data flow.http://www.rad.pasfu.com

did you "split" the two tasks so there are two links (precedence constraints) leading to each?Arthur My Blog

you may see http://smehrozalam.files.wordpress.com/2009/12/ssis-updates-staging-table-dataflow.jpg, your case is similar. Please notice two links splitting.Arthur My Blog
