How Long Do Updates Stay Superseded Before Expiring?
How long do the updates stay superseded before they are expired in the console? Also, will updates that are superseded by service packs expire in SCCM 2007? I know in the new version they won't expire these type of updates.

They will stay forever, you need to clean out superseeded and expired updates by your self.

In SCCM 2012 go to Administration>Site Configuration>Sites. Click on the Configure Site Components drop down arrow and select Software Update point Component Properties. Click on the suspersedence rules tab. You have two options. Immediately expire a superseded software update or do not expire a superseded software update until the software update is superseded for a specified period of time.
