How Do We Stop the IE File Warning Boxes When Opening Docs from the Library?
Hello-- We are in the middle of a corporate-wide deployment of SharePoint 2007 (no MOSS server) and some users on Windows XP and IE7 get a warning when opening files in SP. The warning says: Windows Internet Explorer "Some files can harm your computer. If the file information looks suspicious or you don't fully trust the source, do not open the file. You are opening the following file: Files name:" (file name and the from is our domain) What is strange is that this happens randomly with some users and not others. The example above was for a simple PowerPoint (.ppt) file. Does anyone know how to turn those warnings off for our SP site? We have been trying and cannot find the answer. Thanks!
