Home and Create Site pages don't function in Sharepoint but Central Admin does
I installed SharePoint 2007 with an account that has admin priveleges on server 2003. I can use this account to get into SharePoint Central Administration and that seems to function ok. I can click on the tabs etc. But on another IE browser instance, I can go to the home page for the site and when I click on site actions nothing drops down. I can however click on Create new sites in the center of the home page. This takes me to the New SharePoint Site page. On this page after filling in the required fields the Create button doesn't respond. And in fact the Cancel button doesn't respond. Clicking on the Meetings, Enterprise, and Publishing tabs gives no response either. Is this a permission issue, bugs or something else. The install was successful with no errors and all windows updates have been made. Thanks
