Hinv. and Sinv. issue

Hi everybody!

We've got several hierarchies based on SCCM 2007.....On one of them seems to be keep several problems....( And there is no any way to solve that, at least, i couldn't found that(((( need help, i'm confused(

Using custom sql-query i've found out next on 40% client computers:

Comp. Name Hinv. Last scan Sinv. Last scan
***0 2014-12-09 15:23:00.000 2015-02-04 15:28:00.000
***7 2014-12-09 15:34:00.000 2015-02-04 15:38:39.000
***4 2014-12-09 15:39:00.000 2015-02-04 15:16:11.000
***0 2014-12-09 15:41:00.000 2015-02-04 15:48:03.000
***2 2014-12-09 15:47:00.000 2015-02-04 15:40:29.000
***1 2014-12-09 15:49:00.000 2015-02-05 08:19:16.000
***0 2014-12-09 15:52:00.000 2015-02-04 16:02:57.000
***6 2014-12-09 15:52:00.000 2015-02-04 16:09:18.000
***5 2014-12-09 15:58:00.000 2015-02-04 15:29:53.000

As can you see Sinv. Last scan date is correct while Hinv. Last date shows misunderstanding numbers(

Can anyone help me?(

Have you reviewed for errors in InventoryAgent.log, invproc.log and Dataldr.log on the Primary?

Do you have a backlog in the Dataldr.box inbox ?

NolanC, there are no any errors in that logs(

Do you mean "sms instal dir\inboxes\auth\dataldr.box" or "sms instal dir\inboxes\dataldr.box" ?

This blog post is written for CM!2 but the step are almost identical for CM07. Where does the HW inv stop work?

I've noticed one interesting thing.....On all HW date trouble computers there are missing Hinv. Cycle action an CCM client actions pane.....That's covers more than 30% of all computers.....( Any ideas, guys...

First thing that came to my mind - reinstall CCM agents on that computers.....But i really want to hear out some advice from you....)

Just for a test reinstall the CM12 on one of them, does this solve the problem?

I find it hard to believe that >30% of your clients broke at more or less the same time Have you tried initiating hardware inventory using something like Now Micro to get things moving? Then see if the normal agent works from then on

I've made some changes into sms_def.mof file.......May be it was a cause of problems on that computers? i'll assume it was that....but why other ones working correct?)))

It would likely have been the problem... but it should have corrected itself at the next policy cycle aka 60 minutes. But since you say that the hardware inventory cycle I missing there is a bit more too it.

Again reinstall just one client, are they healthy?
