Hierarchical Drilldown Report
Hi all, Hope somebody can help me with this. I am trying to create a drilldown report in SSRS 2008. When I add the groups, the groups are added to the right of the parent group; however, what I want to do is create a hierarchical drill down. In other words, instead of going to the right, the groups will appear under the parent, within the same column. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In the group pane below, right-click on the parent group and go to Add Group->Child Group. Hope that helps.

Shahfaisal, Thanks for your reply, Whe I add a Child Group, a new columm is added to the tablix; however, I want the child group to appear as a new row, not a new column. In other words, under the parent group. Thanks.

When you add a child group, check the option to "add group footer". You can delete the new "Group column" if you don't need or have the group column and delete the actual column itself. Is that what you are looking for?

Below is an image of what I am trying to accomplish. This is from a training video that I am watching. Unfortunately the video does not explain how this is accomplished. Thanks.
