Hide group label
We are using SSRS 2005. I have a report with the following dataset.
Country
State
Sales
USA
IL 100K
USA
MA
200K
USA
TX
150K
USA Subtotal
450K
Australia
AU-TAS
50K
Australia
AU-SA
50K
Australia
AU-VIC
50K
Australia Subtotal
150K
……..
I have setup groups on Country and State and the State group is hidden and set to toggle by Country. So when
we run the report we see something like this initially
Country
State
Sales
USA
USA Subtotal
450K
Australia
Australia Subtotal
150K
When we expand the country, it shows something like this:
Country
State
Sales
USA IL
100K
USA
MA
200K
USA
TX
150K
USA Subtotal
450K
My requirement is to hide the “Subtotal Labels” when the report is initially rendered but display
it when the user drills down. Something like this:
Country
State
Sales
USA
450K
Australia
150K
Any idea how to hide the group label when the report is initially rendered and show it when the group is expanded?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
You could use the country textbox for group label visibility property -> Display can be toggled by this report item.
Hope this helps..Regards, Senthil
