Hello - How did you check the access? both are in the same domain? I would prefer to use the switches. For details, see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb680980.aspx Anoop C Nair

Try installing with command line options CCMSetup.exe /mp:SMSMP01 SMSSITECODE=S01 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb680980.aspx You can verify the following logs after the client is installed to see whether the client is able to assign to MP, registor and download policies. LocationServices.log - provides info about client assignment ClientIDManagerStartup.log - provides info about client registration with MP policyagent.log - verify this log to see whether the policies are downloaded or not. Check your MP functionality using MPlist and MPcert. http://www.myitforum.com/forums/The-dreaded-MPCERT-m137070.aspx John Marcum | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jmarcum/|

The key point is that ccmsetup is not an all-one installation file. ccmsetup is essentially a bootstrap that initiates the download of the actual files needed for installation. Depending on a few variables, it will try to download/use these files from the directory it was run from, from the MP if it can find it, or based upon the command-line parameters you pass to it (either /mp or /source). Thus, one or all of the suggestions by Anoop, John, and Madan are appropriate depending on your environment.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/jsandys/default.aspx | Twitter @JasonSandys
