Has my last fix broken Steady State ?
After making changes to allow starting up without any keyboard entries I seem to have broken the primary functions of Steady State.
After enableing 'protect the hard disk' and rebooting to a user profile I run the following test. I create a folder on drive D and also delete a different folder on drive D. After a reboot I expect drive D to be as it was
when I enabled disk protection ie the newly created folder to be gone and the deleted folder restored but their not. Is this a valid test ?

I'll answer my own question. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
It seems disk protections/reset at restart only applies to drive c:
Is there a way to make it also apply to drive d: ?

Hi Noo Guy, I'd like to inform you that Windows Disk Protection only works on system partition. Thank you.Sean Zhu - MSFT

Thanks for the reply.
Another question, Is there a way to permanently turn off the 'Scheduled software updates' ? I keep turning it off and it keeps turning itself back on. My target system will not be connected to the internet and I suspect this will cause
me trouble.

If the computer does not connect to the Internet, I consider you can leave the Scheduled software update on. By turning on WDP, it will automatically turn on SSU for security purpose. Thank you.Sean Zhu - MSFT
