I had to deal with SSRS dedicated server ( as it has couple of databases) but not SSIS dedicated server.....All SSIS Packages are stored in msdb system database and not in as in SSRS ReportServer database... Just make sure that your server has enough RAM (at least 8GB) , proper hardware configuration and powerful CPU (64 bit)Best Regards, Uri Dimant SQL Server MVP http://dimantdatabasesolutions.blogspot.com/ http://sqlblog.com/blogs/uri_dimant/

Ideally SSIS runs all it's activity in memory. If the server is doing SSIS execution and SSIS execution *only* then your core focuses are: Memory CPU Network speed Hard drive space will be mostly irrelevant. In pure execution mode, the SSIS server sucks data into memory from another location, processes it, and writes it out to another location. So you need enough memory to hold that data, fast network to move that data, and decent CPU to process it. besides James descriptions; a sample of data transfer scenario with hardware specification on the testing environment exists in this link: download.microsoft.com/download/F/A/C/FACAEBFA-A22F-4990-8DA5-80EC2F088B1A/02b_SSIS_Best_Practices.pdfhttp://www.rad.pasfu.com
