Hi everybody, I am pretty new in the reporting service world. I am trying to show a report list from my SSRS, to achieve that I am using web report viewer control, and it works fine, but I would like to know a way to show just the reports for a specific user, let me explain. In the server I have 10 reports in my server but just the manager has right to see all the reports, some employees have right to see 3 or 5 and so on..., Now I want render a reports list by user right, How can I get the user right from the reporting service database? Thanks in advance

Probably best to have AD account groups created where based on the report you give permissions to specific group to browse. Only user who are member of those groups will be able to see those reports as you can set the security at the report level as well.

Hi Vikram, Thanks for your reply, I already got the solution, yes I used something like your suggestion and reportinservice.CatalogItem to get all the reports based on the user right. Once again thanks for your reply. Peter
