Hi Orion,

The boot image you are using, is it the default boot image from SCCM 2007 R2?  If so, HTA support is not built in by default.  You will need to mount the boot.wim and inject the HTA support package into it.  Have you done that?

hi matt thanks for your reply.

Yes, this is sccm boot image created by sccm 2007.

So, i had added HTA Support as below

Dism /Mount-Wim /WimFile:C:\winpe_x86\winpe.wim /index:1 /MountDir:C:\winpe_x86\mount

Dism /image:C:\winpe_x86\mount /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\PETools\x86\WinPE_FPs\WinPE-HTA.cab

Dism /image:C:\winpe_x86\mount /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\PETools\x86\WinPE_FPs\en-us\WinPE-HTA_en-us.cab

 Dism /Unmount-Wim /MountDir:C:\winpe_x86\mount /Commit

copy wim file, update bootimage and distribute to dps.

Ran test, same result.

So, for testing, unmount wim file and copy hta to windows\system32\hta folder.

In TS, I ran command line with x:\hta to windows\system32\hta\select2.hta and it works..

Any suggestion????

That is interesting.

The error shown in the log above is an indication of the disk formatting being corrupt.  Is this for a replace task sequence, with data migration, or new computer?  Also, is this occurring on one machine or all machines?

If new computer and not worried about data, try running the TS again, and when it fails, hit F8 to bring up command prompt.  Then run diskpart, select drive %number%, clean to clean the drive(s).  Then, try the TS again.

hi i had fixed issue, if someone can explain to me why do i need to change Access content directly from a DP when needed in advertisement. By changing that i am able to get HTA and works fine. ????
