Are there any known issues to run both types of monitoring on Exchange 2007 servers? The reason I ask: The company policy is to run HP OpenView, but personally I think the Exchange monitoring is inadequate. Since my first encounter with SCOM 2007 R2 about a year ago, I have become completely obsessed by SCOM. At a customer I was so lucky to implement it first for Exchange 2010, DCs and TMG 2010, later on several other servers. I would very much like to have control over the monitoring of some Exchange 2007 CCR clusters I co-administer.MCTS: Messaging | MCSE: S+M

Hi There are no compatibility problems with HP Openview and SCOM agents on the same machines. The only potential issue is that with 2 sets of monitoring on the server, there will be additional load on the servers.
