I am working on a project and I need to provide a list of backups jobs that failed from January 1st, 2015. 

Is there a command I can run on the Data Protection Management console or an option in System Center 2012 R2 DPM?

Been searching for a few hours now.

DPM only maintains 30 days job history, so there will be no records for failed jobs as far back as January.  Not sure why you would need failed jobs since auto-rerun can make a good recovery point after the failure or possibly fail again for the same job which would skew your numbers.
