Hi All,

Iam getting below error in my wuahandler.log

Group policy settings were overwritten by a higher authority (Domain Controller) to: Server and Policy

eventhough there is no group policy applied. Please help

even though there is no group policy applied.

I have only ever seen that logged, when there *IS* a domain GPO in effect.

Did you check with RSOP/GPRESULT to confirm ?

Hi,

Yes ,i have checked it ,exported computer policy and user policy ...no group policy has been applied .i can see only local policy

attaching the windows update group policy settings, it is updated by SCCM.

It is possible that group policy is corrupted on the client(s) in question -- although uncommon, it does happen. Deleting the local policy file (c:\windows\system32\grouppolicy\machine\registry.pol) may resolve this -- test this on a single system first though.
