Group owner and displayed Owner not requiered
Hello,I have remark on the portal schema that the 2 attribute Owner and DisplayedOwner were not requiered, even if they are on th RCDC for creation group. With my MPR that gives administrators full control, I can't change them to be requiered. If I switch to advance view, I can check the box, but the save return an error related on eventViewr as :Requestor: urn:uuid:7fb2b853-24f0-4498-9534-4e10589723c4Microsoft.ResourceManagement: Procedure: ReRaiseException. Line number: 31. Message: A Sql failure occurred.evel 16, State 1, Procedure ReRaiseException, Line 31, Message: Reraised Error 50000, Level 16, State 1, Procedure ReRaiseException, Line 31, Message: Reraised Error 50000, Level 16, State 1, Procedure PostProcessBindingDescriptionUpdate, Line 679, Message: DataAccessSqlException: A binding which references a reference typed attribute cannot be marked as required. Attribute: Owner. Object Type: Group..So as I understand, there's no possibility to make them enable.Doesn'it create some problem if I reimport an existing group in AD without manager to match Owner and Displayed Owner on creation to the FIM portal ?

I confirm that this can cause problem because the MPR 'Group management workflow: Group information validation' for static and dynamic are execute and raise no problem. And that's normal because the Owner and Diwplsayed Owner are not mandatory in the schema, but in the RCDC, it generates problem.

Michael -- A reference attribute cannot be 'required' in FIM at the schema level. To understand why, consider a group "Finance" that has owner "Alice." If Alice leaves the company, this leaves group "Finance" without an owner. It would be incorrect to prevent the removal of Alice from the FIM Service, even though it leaves group "Finance" without an owner. This does mean that it will typically be desirable to have a process to identify and fix groups which no longer have owners.Jeff StaimanMicrosoft Corp.
