I've setup a couple of groups that I'm using for targeting content to users. I set the groups to Allow requests to join and to also Auto-accept requests. This is the exact functionality I'm looking for but the only issue is that there's nowhere for the users to join the group. I need some sort of UI where my site members can see the User Groups and Join or Leave at any time. Am I missing something? It makes no sense to have an Auto-accept request if there is no wayfor the members to join. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Scott

Same issue here--I have no idea how to get the "Auto-Accept Request" feature to work :( Has it really been almost three years since this was first posted and there is no response from the SharePoint team at MS? For shame!

Same here. Come on, Microsoft. At least answer this with an explanation. If it is pilot error, fine. Please explain how to correct this. If it is a bug, then remove the option until it isn't.
