Group Discovery not discovering all groups.
Hi, I have setup Group discovery using both discovery method. But not all the grous appear I the "All Group" collection. I've been over the setting s few times and I'm pretty sure that it's setup correctly. What could cuase it to find only a limited number of groups? I have several domains. Thanks. Martin

Hi Martin, AD Securty Group Discovery will give you the groups according to the value specified in the LDAP path. AD System group Discovery will not show any new groups in the Console. It will add group information to already discovered computer objects.Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

Guys, Thanks for your replies. Was my fault. Had discovery configured on top level domain only. Once I set discovery on a secondary site in the other domains it all kicked in. Thanks Martin

You can discover multiple domains from the same server, you just have to manually type in the LDAP path. John Marcum | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jmarcum/|
