Granting administrator privileges to the SSRS Report Server
I have SQL server 2008 R2 installed on a Windows Vista PC. I've been learning the SSRS reporting features. When I try a report deployment, I get this error:
Error 1 The permissions granted to user 'mmosias-PC\mmosias' are insufficient for performing this operation.
When I try to launch the Report Manager to define roles and access privileges, I get this error message:
User 'mmosias-PC\mmosias' does not have required permissions. Verify that sufficient permissions have been granted and Windows User Account Control (UAC) restrictions have been addressed.
I am an administrator on this PC. Is there a configuration missing for SSRS on my PC to be able to fix this?
Thank you.

The answer is in this thread. Turn off UAC for the Windows Vista user account.
