Got error when publishing Access database to Sharepoint site
Hi,We use Sharepoint 2007 Moss. I have a user tried to publish his Access 2007 database to a SP site but he get a message from Access that "The Web location does not support Access Services". How can I fix this for him? Thank you.Thank you

What version of Access? (Guessing 2010) If you just try to upload the file (.mdb or .accdb) to a document library, what happens? What function are you using to "publish"Steve Clark, MCTS | Twin-Soft.com & Easy Bins Dumpster Rentals of Northern VA. (Specializing in driveway-sized roll-off dumpsters.)

The user wasn't uploading the database to doc library. He's trying to publish his accesss database to a sharepoint sub site and was getting the error. Is it true that Sharepoint 2007 MOSS doesn't support his and only SP2010 would? thanks.Thank you

Let me make sure I understand "Publish". Is he trying to "upsize" the Access tables to SharePoint Lists? There are ways to perform the features without a Wizard, I just don't know exactly what he's trying to do.Steve Clark, MCTS | Twin-Soft.com & Easy Bins Dumpster Rentals of Northern VA. Yuuup. This is a SharePoint 2010 widget, so it will not work with MOSS 2007.Steve Clark, MCTS | Twin-Soft.com & Easy Bins Dumpster Rentals of Northern VA. (Specializing in driveway-sized roll-off dumpsters.)
