Why Getting SSIS error while passing 01/01/2012 date in ssis variable of datetime data type?

As the data type is datetime it is looking for datetime value. For eg 01/01/2012 10:12:23 etc
If you want to use 01/01/2012 only, then convert the variable data type to string and proceed.
