Getting Names/Emails of USERS who have Not Started Workflow Task.

Hi All,

Am developing a Workflow in SharePoint 2013 Designer which is having Platform Type as SharePoint 2010.

Am stuck with one of the issue as

I have to send a Reminder Email to MULTIPLE (More than one) Users who have NOT STARTED the workflow.

e.g. if the workflow task is assigned to 4 members and if all 4 or less than 4 members have Not started the workflow. I want to get Email Address of the USERS who have NOT STARTED the task and Send the Reminder email to THEM.

I am able to create Reminder Email, and able to send it to the person who has Not Started the Workflow.

I did following to achieve above :

If Workflow Tasks:Status equals Not Started
Pause for 0 days, 0 hours, 2 minutes
                                      Email Tasks:Assigned To

But the MAIN ISSUE is , the email is targeting only ONE user, whoever comes first in Email Sending task. Not other members who are next in queue.  :(

If anyone knows about it, the help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Sameena Shaikh

Hi Sameena,

Where did you use the condition and the actions?

Please open your workflow with SharePoint Designer, then click the "Approval(*)" in the action "Strart Approval Process", then go to "Change the behavior of a single task". In the "When a Task is Pending", add the condition and actions.

In my testing, the result is:

Hi Wendy,

Thanks for the info.

And dear, the same I have done already.

But It is targeting only Single/First User whoever comes first in Email Sending task. Not other members who are next in queue.  :(

I want names of ALL members who have NOT STARTED the task.

Thanks in advance,

Hi Sameena,

Are you using "Serial(one at a time)" or "Parallel(all at once)" when there are multiple approvers in the workflow?

In my testing, I was using "Parallel(all at once)", it worked well.

Please check your workflow settings and test agian.

Thanks,

Wendy
