Hi, I'm trying to get Data from an Essbase database into a SSRS 2008 report. Connection seems to be ok for getting the meta data of the Essbase cube into the Query Designer. But if I add one measure into the right lower box after having specified one member for each dimension in the right upper box then I get the following error: TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Report Builder ------------------------------ The server sent an unrecognizable response. ------------------------------ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Unable to format XML value according to declared type. (Microsoft.ReportingServices.DataExtensions.XmlaClient) ------------------------------ Die Eingabezeichenfolge hat das falsche Format. (mscorlib) ------------------------------ BUTTONS: OK ------------------------------ The report can be saved but I can't get data. I don't think it's a problem of the XMLA code because I tested the XMLA code with a self created report tool which uses the assembly of SQL Server for Essbase access - funny, isn't it?!
