Get the Execute time of a query in Execute SQL Task in SSIS
The timeout generates an error flow if the task isn't finished within the given seconds. It's a property of that task. So set the time-out to 30 minutes and connect the red arrow to a task that does your logging. For example a Script Task or an other Execute SQL Task that adds a logging record to a database table. Each task has expressions (go to the properties of your task) which you can use to set properties dynamicly. Hi All, 2)Secondly if i have any connectivity issues then i need to log "Connectivity Issues " into Database. How to capture the DB Connection Issues in SSIS and log the error. SSIS will log an error if your connection fails, but if you wan't to explicitly check the connection first.... I guess you could use for example a Script Task to check the connection and to log som custom errors. Please mark the post as answered if it answers your question | My SSIS Blog: http://microsoft-ssis.blogspot.com
