Framework deployment with wsus.
Hi guys, I'm trying to install, or should i say deploy Framework 3.5 with sp1 (i found the kb fo windows xp it's 951847). when i'm looking at the default share folder on the SCCM server, i can see the folder guid number, and inside the folder i can see the folder i can see the installation file for framework 3.5 sp1 which is dotnetfx35_x86.exe After i gave a little preview, here is my simple question, why can't i see the guid folder that was created on the server 2 days ago on my client machines? i did a couple of times "software update scan cycle" and "software update evaluation cycle", but after an hour, i can't see the specific folder that appers on the clients. I checked the wuahandler.log,no errors there. Hope you can help me in this little annoying issue. Best regards, Nahum

Hi Nahum, 1. please run the command “wuauclt /detectnow”; after that, please check the WindowsUpdate.log file in one of your client machine; 2. Please check if the following registry keys are missing on clients: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\windows\WindowsUpdate] "WUServer"="http://WSUSServer" "WUStatusServer"=http://WSUSServer If they are missing, please add the registry keys manually. After that, go to Run Synchronization again. If it doesn’t work, please upload Ccmexec, WUAHandler and Windows Update logs to skydrive and share link to us.
