Forms Based Authentication Issues
We've implemented the SQL Server 2008 R2 custom security extension using forms based authentication. I've added users to the table in the UserAccounts and that works. However, when I try to log into the ReportServer or Reports (manager) I get The permissions granted to user 'Jim' are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied) Get Online Help Please let me know how to trouble shoot.Jim Emlet

Hi Jim, From your description, the error message The permissions granted to user are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied) is received when they try to access the report server or the Report Manager after implementing a custom security extension. Based on the current information, the issue might be caused by that UAC removes the authorization and access control components that identify an administrator. At this time, I suggest that the users launch Internet Explorer as administrator by right-clicking it and selecting Run as administrator, then copy the URL to the address bar manually.
