I am tyring to use a Foreach Loop Container to enumerate over multiple files; but when I try to select "Foreach File Enumerator" in the Enumerate field on the Collection page of the Foreach Loop Editor, I can't find that option in there I'm working through an SSIS tutorial This says "Double-click Foreach File in Folder to reopen the Foreach Loop Editor. Click Collection. On the Collection page, select Foreach File Enumerator." The drop down only contains foreach ado enumerator foreach ado.net schema_rowset.enumerator foreach from variable.enumerator foreach nodelist.enumerator foreach smo.enumerator How do I get the "foreach file in folder" to appear in the drop down list?

You are not a local admin on this machine. Another trick could be in running BIDS as administrator if you are on Win Vista or above. To do so, right-click on the BIDS icon and chose "Run as Admin".Arthur My Blog

It is my personal computer. Of course I am the local admin on this machine. It is a Windows XP Pro SP3 machine. If you are an admin, how come you are denied access in the registry? The link I provided you with contained mulitple possible solutions. Did you try them all?

All the solution seem to apply to SQL 2005. I am using SQL 2008 R2. I don't know if that makes any difference but the fact is I have tried all the suggestions on all the links posted here and I have come up with nothing that works.

If yes, at this stage you may have a problem with the file system objects. I would simply re-install the entire SQL suite. Arthur My Blog
