For some users, the Task synchronization between Sharepoint and Exchange 2013 running one-way.

Hi!

I have configure task synchronization between SharePoint Server 2013 (SP1 2015AugCU) and Exchange 2013(Cu8).

Some users see the tasks in OWA (or Outlook) synced from Sharepoint but after they change this tasks in OWA - changes do not appear in Sharepoint. If you then change the task again in Sharepoint task data in OWA will be replaced.

Strange but the  Personal Tasks are synchronized in both directions.

Course which users have full rights to the site.

I have update Sharepoint to lastest CU and EWS API (on Sharepoint).

Thanks in Advance!

Hello Victoria,

You did not understand me. In my example, I described synchronization with the SharePoint list. That there is a problem!

First, I create a task list. When it appears on the Outlook. If I make changes to the task through SharePoint, the changes come in the Outlook(or OWA). If I make changes to the same task by the Outlook(or OWA) when they do not come in SharePoint. This only occurs for some users!

But personal tasks are synchronized in both directions for all users.

I also tested the following scheme: I created a personal Task, which is perfectly synchronized in both directions. After I move task  to SharePoint list, it has stop to synchronize from the Outlook.

I thinkthis is a Bag! Mayby you know where are sync logs?

Hi,

From your description, the issue only occurs with some users.

Please verify that if the users have permission on the tasks list and compare the users without issue to see if there are any differences.

Best regards,

Victoria
