Folder wandered from Projects folder into a subfolder - how do I move it back?

Our SharePoint 2013 structure has a high level Projects folder where all our projects reside.

Today, one of our high level projects wandered in its entirety into one of the other project folders.  I assume a mismouse, as I have seen this happen with Windows folders before.  After some searching, I found the folder inside another folder.  However, I don't know how to move it back, plus it will make archiving interesting in the long run.

I tried dragging the folder from the subfolder back into the Projects list, without success.  Nothing on the Manage options seemed likely to work.

Is there an easier way to fi this than creating the project folder new and then moving everything back one at a time?

Is there a way to lock upper level folders so they cannot easily wander off?

Hi, have you tried to move the folder back using the Explorer view :

https://www.google.ca/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&es_th=1&ie=UTF-8#es_th=1&q=sharepoint%20explorer%20view

Otherwise you could use content and structure :

You could lock the upper level folder using security.

Regards
