Finding the top 6 values in a column
Hi There, I have a report built for a client and was wondering if it is possible to highlight the cells in a column op the top 6 results. I'd like to colour code them to the key shown in the report. I was thinking of doing a look up table in sql but would love to know if its possible to get them from an expression in Report Builder. The report is pictured below and the columns I want to highlight are the Total Listings Column and the S column. Thanks in advance. Paul

The simplest way will be to give every result a number using row_number() function. This way youl easily can highlight top 6 results. For every expert, there is an equal and opposite expert. - Becker's Law My blog

Thanks Naomi, I shall investigate this function at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms159225(v=sql.100).aspx, sounds similar to the sql variant Kind Regards Paul
