Document libraries don't have 'space.' What are you referring to? The lowest level at which "space" is measured and restricted is the site collection level, and this is done through quotas. Document libraries don't have "space" like a shared drive if that's what you were thinking.SharePoint Architect || Microsoft MVP || My Blog

Hi, In a sharepoint site i am uploading so many files to a document library, after uploading where these files will be saving and how much memory or capacity will be taken by that library. How can i programatically find out the remaining memory or capacity of that library? Neenu

Libraries don't have capacity - I said that before. The site collection has a quota if one has been set, but there is no "capacity." That is completely dependent on your database storage, which is not related to SharePoint and definitely not related to a single document library. Is there something that made you think a document library has a specific capacity? There is a limit to the NUMBER of documents in a document library and then total documents within a content database, but we're talking millions, and this number is not related to the file size - just the number of objects.SharePoint Architect || Microsoft MVP || My Blog
