Filter a Custom List using the current meeting date
I have a custom list (Not a series) in SharePoint 2007 that has lists of items, and each item will have effective dates and expiry dates. Looking to find a way to retrive the selected date for a recurring meeting. I am not sure if there is a variable I can use in creating a parameter that will grab the current meeting that is selected. I can easily grab the InstanceID from the query string, as people change the meeting date, which the InstanceID seems to be made up of the actual meeting date. However when the meeting is initially opened, there is no querystring variable there. How do I get the current selected meeting date? The end goal, will allow users to go back to see the items during each meeting, but also allow me to use items across a series of meetings.
