We are currently running Sharepointt Services 3.0 SP1 and just recently bought some new Office licenses. I installed Office 2010 and whenever I try and edit a document from SharePoint it always opens in read-only. It doesn't matter how I try and open the file it always opens in read-only. I would hope that Office 2010 is compatiable with Sharepoint services 3.0. Is there something I'm missing here? Thanks.Robert82

Has anyone had any compatiability issues with Office 2010 and Sharepoint services 3.0? As far as my issue with everything opening in "read-only", I tried disabling "Protective Viewing Mode" and that didn't resolve the problem either. So I uninstalled 2010 and installed 2007 and I was able to edit sharepoint documents again. The really strange thing is I had the beta version of 2010 running on a vitrual XP machine and I was able to edit the documents on Sharepoint just fine. Robert82
