I posted about this last week (Application Install Problem) but I an not able to post the logs so the the previous post is unsolved and may be deleted. Again I am able to deploy Filemaker Pro 11 AND a FileMaker Pro 11 Updater (to 11.0.3) as part of Software Distribution. I have SELECTED the checkbox to "allow this program to be deployed as part of the Install Task Sequence". This same package/program that installs both packages in Software Distribution will not install as an Install Task Sequence in OSD. ALL my other applications will work fine in both scenarios (i.e. As an advertisement and as part of OSD). I could live with deploying FM 11 this way but it does through a wrench into the plan and adds time before uses can use the application after a PC deployment. My experience also tells me that if this happens now it will happen again. Any solution or workaround will be useful later. I ran a test on Friday after disabling the FM 11 Updater task and successfully redeployed Win 7 x64. The logs say that the FM 11 task ran successfully but in reality Filemaker is not on the computer. On Saturday I added the two test computers to a FileMaker deployment collection and assigned the FM Pro 11 AND the FM Pro 11 update to the collection. When I came into work this morning Filemaker was installed and updated. WHY won't this work as part of OSD? I am at a loss. BTW, Thanks to everyone who made suggestions in my previous post.
