Hi, There can be many reasons for this kind of errors and this needs to be figured out. Follow these steps: 1. Go to web.config file of the destination site and make changes and set customerror =off and stacktrace =true. This will give you then detail error message swhile accessing the site. 2. In an alternative way you can also enable verbose mode of logging as well to capture such details. In your scenario these can be the reason: 1. Your site created in your new site collection might be referencing some items relative to the site collection and not finding it. 2. Some feature dependency might not have been activated. I think you might be able to access the system pages like _layouts/viewlsts.aspx and _layouts/settings.aspx. In this case open the default page in webpart maintenance page and start closing webpart to find that if this issue is happening because of any webpart or not. I hope this will help you out. Thanks, Rahul Rashu
