Fallback Status error.
Hi, Recently I have upgraded my SCCM to R3, After upgrade the status of the site server is showing an error. Please find description below: 1. SCCm server with four site server configured to all other three location. 2. The FSp is installed in the seperate server. and in FSp server an error is coming on event viewer. The SMS Fallback Status Point could not transfer messages from the staging folder to the outbox. Possible causes: The outbox is not accessible or is an invalid location. The operating system reported error 32: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. And no new client is installing in sccm server. Please suggest. Regards, Abhay Jagdish Singh.

A FSP has nothing to do with installing the clients. How did you determine that "no new client is installing in sccm server"? What's in fspmgr.log?

Hi, I would remove and reinstall the FSP site system before starting any other troubleshooting. It takes a few minutes to do so.Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

Hi, Thanks for your reply.. In the fspmgr.log, there is no any entry of today. the entries are too old... I came to know that the sccm client is not installing in clients, because I tried to install it through console and manually too. but the are not coming in sccm as a installed client. Please find the last some line of the fspmgr.log entry. It looks perfectly fine, except for the error status message(s) "ID=6905 SEV=E". You might be able to find the 2 files (because fspmgr is only able to copy all but 2) that could cause a problem. Have you verified that the client installation was successful on the client (ccmsetup.log)? Is the MP still working (MP troubleshooter + http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb932118.aspx).

Hi, I tried installing clients, first uninstall and then install from command prompt. But again that client is showing in non SCCM clients. Regards, Abhay Jagdish Singh.

Uninstall the FSP, follow http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb632890.aspx and reinstall. No help on the client install issue can be given if you don't answer the questions.

Does the log end after those lines? The installation did not really start then. Is there anything useful in eventlog?
