Did you add the safecontrol entry for the webpart in the web.config of the website ? Did you check to see if the assembly was deployed in the GAC (c:\Windows\assembly) ? The safe control entry should look something like this: <SafeControl Assembly=”TSPortalWebPart, Version=6.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35″ Namespace=”*” TypeName=”*” Safe=”True” />

Dayal, You need to do 2 things: Drop your DLL code after signing it into the GAC (Windows --> Run --> Assembly) Put a Safe Control Entry in the Web.config of the web application in whose site you are trying to add this webpart. Hope you got the idea. Please confirm.BR, PM
