check that you have enough(write) access on sql server\ enough hard disk space on the machine\ if in farm make sure you are using domain accountManish Sati

you need to note one point is that you SQL server 2008 agent shud be running and then you point to your configuration wizard. check for SQL server 2008 Agent in services.msc console whether running or not. as said by manish check al the above said stuffs.
