Have you checked the CreateTSMedia log in <ConfigMgr Install Directory>\AdminUI\AdminUILogs?Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | Twitter @JasonSandys

Is the SCCM Site server running in Mixed or Native mode?

Thanks Henk , But that link did not help me much
I am running mixed mode. I tried running console as administrator and tried creating the media , I still get same error.

That error means access denied, so something you are adding to your boot image is not accessible by the site server account of the system hosting the SMS Provider.
Drivers are the main thing put into boot images but a custom wallpaper can also be added. Have you tried removing these?Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | Twitter @JasonSandys

Jason, I am able to create the boot media from same image on a different site server. One site is having issues . I have checked the site server permssions but could not find anything unusual.

Hi, I have a few questions for you,
Are the boot images reside on the same Site server or on a remote Distribution Point?
Can you create (for example) Capture media from the same Site server?
Are there any error messages seen in Site status? (or in CreateTSMedia.log)
When you select the other Boot image (x86/x64) is it working then?
Do you have a choice between different Distribution Points? (child sites)
On which location you are trying to save the ISO file? (network/local server)
Regards, Henk

Please give Everyone Local Launch permission in the DcomCnfg console. For "Creator owner", give "Special permissions" at C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\WBEM. Then, please try to create a boot media again.
If the issue disappeared, it's a known issue.
Hope it helps. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
